      What people use

I build the part people use.

From somebody has to remember, to done.

If you are juggling texts, spreadsheets and sticky notes, I can turn the way you already work into something that keeps track for you.

Ongoing costs depend on what your system needs. You'll know about them before we build.

Work with what you already have

We do not have to turn everything off to fix it.

Already have a website? Already bought the domain? Already have business email?

        • Your domainYours.
        • Your paymentsGo to you.
        • Your customer informationStays with your business.

        Your business stays yours.

Your name on every account. Mine on the work.

You do not have to understand the technology to own it. I'll walk you through the important accounts your business needs and handle the technical setup from there.

        • You type your own passwords.
        • You enter your own payment details.
        • I get administrator or developer access, not your passwords.
        • Stop working with me any time and keep everything.

        No surprises.

Some projects need services outside of the website itself, such as a domain, business email, payment processing or a private data service. I'll explain what your project needs, why it needs it, and any ongoing cost before we build.

Why isn't everything bundled into one price?

Because some of those services belong to your business. Keeping them in your name means they stay yours, even if you stop working with by JMW.

What if someone else is holding my website hostage?

No hostage websites here. If your web address or logins are stuck with someone else, getting them back into your name is one of the first things we work on.

        Creative freedom

It's your website. You can do what you want.

Bold colors, an unexpected layout, a feature nobody in your industry has tried yet. If it fits your business, we can find a way to make it real.

That is where I come in. I make the idea work technically and practically, on every screen your customers use. If something would slow the site down, confuse a customer or cost more than it is worth, I will tell you plainly and help you find the version that still feels like yours.

You make the calls. I make them work.

        The process

        How projects grow

Start with what you need. Build more when you're ready.

Every project can start smaller and grow. A smaller budget gets a smaller first phase, built with the same care. A large custom project is never squeezed into a smaller package.

        1. Phase 1Turn the light on.

Get the essential website or experience live.

        2. Phase 2Turn the light up.

Add the next phase of work: booking, payments, portals, automations, integrations, more content, or other features.

        3. Phase 3Keep the light on.

Ongoing care and support after launch.

Phases describe how a build grows. Glow, Shine and Radiate are separate Website Care plans for after launch.

        Questions people ask first

How much does a website cost?

Project pricing is based on the actual scope after discovery. Content needs, integrations, migrations, ecommerce, custom workflows, and other requirements can change the final investment.

Do I need to know what platform or tools I use?

No. If you are not sure where your domain, email, booking system, or website is managed, that is okay. Discovery helps identify the setup.

What if I already have a website?

Your existing site can usually remain live while the replacement is built. Before launch, I review the current setup so the domain, email, portals, forms, and other connected services are not disrupted unnecessarily.

Will I own my website accounts?

Business critical accounts such as your domain, business email, payments, client data, social accounts, and practice or CRM systems should remain under your ownership whenever practical. I use administrator, developer, or collaborator access where available.

        Do you offer maintenance?

Yes. Glow, Shine, and Radiate Website Care plans are available after launch. by JMW also offers one off paid support after the launch support period.

Do you work traditional office hours?

by JMW does not operate on traditional office hours. Client messages are answered within 2 business days, and work is completed according to the agreed project or maintenance timeline. Rush work is subject to availability and may require an additional fee. Any rush cost is confirmed before work begins.

How projects work: the full policies
        • Pricing. Project pricing is based on the actual scope after discovery. Every final quote follows the approved scope.
        • Proposals are valid for 14 days. After that, pricing, timeline, or availability may need to be updated.
        • Booking. Your project is booked once the agreement is signed and the deposit is paid. Production priority is based on when the project becomes fully ready to start.
        • Timeline. The build timeline begins after I receive the required intake, content, assets, access, and approvals.
        • Delays. If required content, access, approvals, or feedback are delayed, the timeline pauses. After 14 calendar days of inactivity, the project may be moved out of the active production queue and rescheduled based on current availability.
        • Revisions. Lite Site includes 2 revision rounds. Bright Beam and Beacon include 3. A revision round means one consolidated set of feedback. Major direction changes after an approved concept may require a new quote.
        • Scope changes. If you ask for work outside the approved scope, I pause that portion, give you the added cost and timeline, and go ahead only after you approve.
        • Rush work is subject to availability and may require an additional fee. Any rush cost is confirmed before work begins.
        • Final payment is due after final approval and before launch. Minor launch related fixes may still be completed after launch.
        • Email is official for approvals, scope changes, pricing changes, launch approval, and major decisions. Calls and texts are fine, but key decisions are confirmed by email.
        • Response time. I respond to client messages within 2 business days. You get milestone updates at kickoff, first review, revisions, final approval, and launch.
        • Ownership and access. You own the business critical accounts. I get administrator, developer, or collaborator access whenever possible. Passwords are never collected through forms or spreadsheets.
        • Deposits. A deposit may be refunded only if work has not started. Work has started once I begin project specific planning, research, setup, writing, design, or development. After that the deposit is non refundable and completed work may be billed according to scope.
        • After launch. For 90 days, I fix technical issues tied to the original build. After that, you can choose Glow, Shine or Radiate, or request one off support, which has a one hour minimum. Advanced work is scoped separately.
        • Portfolio. I ask permission before showing your project in my portfolio, social media, case studies, or marketing.
        • Offboarding. If we stop working together, I confirm your access and ownership, remove my access where appropriate, give you a setup summary, and confirm recurring services stop. Extra migration, training, or handoff help may be quoted separately.

        Your part

        • Provide accurate business information.
        • Give timely feedback and approvals.
        • Have the legal rights to the photos, logos, text, and other content you send.
        • Provide access to your domain, email, portals, platforms, and connected tools.
        • Make the final decisions about your services, pricing, policies, and business claims.

Know someone who needs the lights on?

        • Credits expire after 12 months.
        • Credits can stack, with up to $400 applied to one project.
